What it is

Deermory is a family health recording tool: temperature, symptoms, cycles, digestion — everyday metrics that live in one ongoing journal per person, not just when someone falls ill.

Getting sick is still a first-class scenario: visit-summary PDFs, an emergency card, a medicine cabinet, and medication plans are ready when it matters. Data is local-first — every record stays on your device and your own iCloud.

It records and presents information only; it never diagnoses or suggests medication. You confirm this on first launch, and every exported PDF report carries the same line.

Who it’s for

  • Family members caring for elders or children — everyone has their own constitution, allergies, and medication reactions
  • People with chronic conditions or long-term medication who need to give doctors the full story
  • Anyone who wants to keep track of which illness, which symptoms, which medicine, and how it worked

Key features

  • Family profiles: a health profile per member — allergies (incl. anaphylaxis), medication intolerances, chronic conditions, surgeries, family history, long-term meds
  • Journals: records organized by episode — temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, glucose, symptoms, medication, photos, and voice, with reference ranges colour-coded automatically
  • Visit summaries: one-tap PDFs — background, summary, metric curves, medication details, voice transcripts, and photos as you choose; CSV too
  • Emergency card: allergies, anaphylaxis history, and emergency contacts on one page for the ER
  • Medicine cabinet & plans: drug records, expiry reminders, dose check-ins, remaining-supply estimates
  • Voice notes & OCR: speak to record (live transcription); snap a pill box to create an entry
  • HealthKit import: bring data from the system Health app into your journals

Why I built it

Three questions doctors ask most: “Any drug allergies?” “What has he taken before, and how did it go?” “How has the temperature been trending?” The answers usually sit in chat threads, photo albums, and memory. And the fact that some medicines simply don’t work for some people — hospitals have no record of that.

Deermory turns it all into a family journal you can fill in a tap and show in a second. Deermory — deer + memory — says it in one breath: a gentle deer that gathers the scattered pieces of a health story — temperatures, symptoms, medication — into one journal, so nothing rests on memory alone. The Chinese name, 鹿拾忆, carries the same wish; in Chinese tradition the deer is a beast of longevity, painted beside the crane in the classic “deer and crane in spring” motif. Deer are born watchful, and so is a good journal: it notices small changes before they grow. Clear records mean less panic.

Important
Deermory is a recording tool. It provides no medical diagnosis or medication advice. If you feel unwell, seek medical care and follow your doctor’s instructions.
