LessonTally Overview

LessonTally

已上架 v3.0.1

Lesson hours, tracked and auto-deducted

What it is

LessonTally puts scheduling, check-ins, credit deduction, and cost tracking into one app — built for piano, swimming, dance, personal training, language lessons, tutoring, and any recurring course. Made for parents, learners, teachers, and coaches: whether you manage lessons for yourself and your family or run a teaching schedule by student, every session stays clear.

Lessons, check-ins, and statistics stay on your own device by default; iCloud sync starts only when you turn it on.

Two modes

  • Learning mode: manage lessons for yourself or your family, reviewing schedules and conflicts by person
  • Teaching mode: teachers, tutors, and coaches manage everything by student

Key features

  • Regular courses: fixed-count and unlimited plans fit session packs, weekly/monthly/seasonal/yearly cards; daily, weekly, monthly, or custom-interval scheduling with multiple rules per course — each with its own name, teacher, location, fee, and dates
  • Flexible scheduling (teaching mode): book ad-hoc tutoring and one-off lessons session by session; hours and consumed credits are tallied by actual duration
  • Every check-in counted: manual and automatic check-ins, rule-based auto deduction; cancelled lessons can deduct or postpone, with make-ups, extra lessons, renewal amounts, and trash recovery
  • Timetable & statistics: calendar and timeline views; total/average costs, completion rates, cancellation trends, and income-vs-expense with CSV / PDF report export
  • Reminders & widgets: lesson notifications, home-screen widgets, system calendar sync
  • Import & backup: CSV template import, JSON backup import/export, iCloud sync with manual upload/pull
  • Personalization: course colors, common durations, card contents; light / dark / system

Why I built it

Lesson hours and fees are the lifeblood of teaching businesses — they shouldn’t be locked inside someone else’s server. LessonTally’s local-first architecture gives the data back to you: export and back up freely, sync only if you want to — the developer never collects your course data.
