FingerTrace · Terms of Service
Effective date : 2026-10-12
1. Acceptance & Changes
Before downloading, installing, or using FingerTrace (the "App"), please read this agreement carefully. By using the App you accept it in full; if you disagree, please stop using it. The agreement may change as the App evolves — material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date, and continued use means you accept the updated agreement.
2. Service & License
FingerTrace is a software product developed and maintained by an independent developer.System requirements: iOS 26 or later (iPhone and iPad supported).
Subject to your compliance with this agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control. We keep improving the App; features may change between versions, and important changes are noted in the changelog.
3. Accounts
FingerTrace requires no account. If you use system-provided services such as cloud sync, that provider's terms also apply to the data involved.
4. Payments, In-App Purchases & Refunds
FingerTrace is free to use for the base features: the free tier exports at up to 720p (with a brand watermark) and allows up to 3 auto-zoom segments per project; other Pro benefits are described on the membership page inside the app. “Pro” offers three products — a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription (auto-renewing), and a lifetime version (one-time purchase) — with prices as displayed on the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a purchase; subscriptions renew automatically within 24 hours before the current period ends and can be managed or cancelled anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, with benefits remaining until the end of the current period. Payments are processed by Apple, and FingerTrace never collects any payment information; for refunds, please apply through Apple's official channel (reportaproblem.apple.com), and the corresponding benefits will be removed once the refund completes. After switching to a new device, use “Restore Purchases” on the in-app membership page to restore your benefits.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App lawfully, to ensure that content you enter or import is lawful, and not to use the App for any illegal or infringing activity. You will not reverse engineer or decompile the App, copy or modify it or create derivative works, rent, resell, or redistribute it without authorisation, or bypass its technical limits, membership restrictions, or purchase mechanisms.
6. Intellectual Property
Except for content you create or lawfully own, the App — including its code, interface, icons, copy, and design — is owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, or redistribute it without authorisation. Content you create or import remains yours or your licensors'; we claim no ownership over your data.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is". We keep improving it, but to the extent permitted by law we make no promises that it will meet your particular needs, run uninterrupted, timely, securely, or error-free, or that the data it presents is fully accurate or reliable. You are responsible for regularly backing up data you create with the App; we are not liable for losses caused by failure to back up.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including data loss, business interruption, or lost profits) arising from use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for the App or this agreement is capped at what you actually paid for the App in the past 12 months (zero if you paid nothing).
9. Changes & Termination
You can stop using the App anytime by deleting it; local data on your device remains yours and can be exported with the app's export features. If an app must be discontinued, we will announce it in the app or on this page ahead of time and provide a data-export path where possible. If you breach this agreement, we may limit or suspend your use of the relevant services or features.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be resolved amicably; failing that, either party may bring suit before a court of competent jurisdiction.

Content compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that any screen recordings, music, images, stickers, and other assets you import into the app are lawfully obtained and that you hold the corresponding rights to edit, process, and publish them. Content protected by technological protection measures (DRM) — such as songs from Apple Music and other streaming services — cannot and must not be imported or worked around. Do not use the app to create or process content that infringes others’ copyrights, portrait rights, privacy, or other lawful rights.
Disclaimer for exported videos
Exported videos represent your own creative work and judgment. Before publishing, commercial use, or distribution to third parties, please verify yourself that the assets, text, and audio appearing in the picture and soundtrack do not infringe others’ rights and do not violate applicable platform rules and laws. You are solely responsible for how you publish and use the videos you create.
